Interest Rates Fell Again Amid the Russian-Ukraine Conflict

Interest Rates fell again this week during Russian’s invasion of Ukraine. The 30 year fixed rate mortgage rate dropped to a 3.76% average this past week, according to a Freddie Mac report. “While pressure of inflation remain now. The impacts of the war have created market turmoil. So, rates should to stay low in the short term. But will likely increase in the coming months” said Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s chief economist.
